We believe that in order to best help an injured biker, an attorney must have two essential things. First, because bikers face very different laws in New York State when compared to other victims (laws that are NOT in the bikers’ favor) the attorney must have the experience and knowledge sufficient to deal with the different laws, and the unique situations created by those laws. Second, because the biker faces prejudices and presumptions, the attorney must have an intricate knowledge of the biker’s perspective, and more importantly the subtle and obvious differences between normal vehicle operation and bike riding. Our motorcycle lawyer, Ben Rabin, has both of those essential requirements.

Ben has represented hundreds of bikers, learning along the way all the big and small differences involved with bike law, and how to overcome the unique challenges that bikers face. He’s also been riding since before he was old enough to even have a license, and so understands what a biker deals with, and can effectively relay that to a judge, jury or insurance company.

In addition to being a motorcycle lawyer, Ben is a true biker. He participates in charity work with bikers all year long, and is the Chairman of Bikers for Babies, the largest motorcycle charity event in Upstate New York. Ben is also a member of Bikers United, a group that provides education for bikers as well as financial assistance to injured bikers that have no or too little insurance. Ben regularly lectures throughout New York to bikers about how to best protect themselves from the financial risks of riding.
